Herbal Teas for Nausea
The following herbal teas may help relieve some of your nausea. Try the Nectarine Tea if you tend to have acid reflux, or if spicy foods don’t agree with you. Practice moderation with all these teas–don’t drink more than 3 cups per day.
Ginger and Mint Tea (makes 8 servings)
- 1-inch piece of fresh ginger, peeled and grated
- 5 leaves fresh mint
- 4 cups boiling water
Place ginger and mint in teapot. Pour boiling water over ginger and mint and let steep 3 to 5 minutes. Add honey to taste. (From Ancient Healing for Modern Women by Xiaolan Zhao)

- 1-inch piece of fresh ginger, peeled and grated
- 1/2 tablespoon grated orange rind
- 4 cups boiling water

Tangerine Tea (makes 8 servings)
- Grated rind of 2 tangerines
- 4 cups boiling water
Place ginger and orange peel in teapot. Pour boiling water over ginger and mint and let steep 3 to 5 minutes. Add honey to taste.
